Miles ahead of the old iPad 3, the Apple iPad 3 offers a heady mix of stylish technology and productive mobile computing. At first glance, this new generation iPad 3 looks very much like the older model. They share the same 9.7-inch, 1024 x 768 display and aluminum construction. However, Apple has really shaved off some flab: the iPad 3 is thinner by about 4mm and lighter by over 100gms than the older tablet. It also comes with 2 VGA cameras, one above the display and the second on the back of the device. While useful for video calls, they won’t be replacing any digital cameras.
The Apple iPad 3 may be slimmer and lighter, but it’s also faster. The new dual core A5 processor easily outperforms the iPad 3′s A4 processor. A separate dual core graphics processor makes sure the iPad 3 handles even hi-res media with ease.
